The re-design of the Product Description Page was a team effort focused on creating a more comfortable, branded, and engaging shopping experience. While taking inspiration from the original design, new organizational layouts and the use of brand colors were introduced.

The Process

The re-design of the Product Description Page was a team effort focused on creating a more comfortable, branded, and engaging shopping experience. While taking inspiration from the original design, I also introduced different organizational layouts and use of brand colors.
The right panel in the original PDP design lacked an intuitive flow, had small text challenging to read, and didn't stylistically represent the NJ brand.
The first draft took a safe route from the original design sharing stylistic similarities, while re-organizing and presenting the info in a new way.
The second draft was a jump from the first, highlighting the product and making the selection of colors and sizes simpler and easier to see. A darker, branded pink was introduced to create a bolder contrast.

The Final Design

The PDP re-design.
The final design was a more elevated, branded, and user-friendly version of the original PDP. The main garment took center stage, along with easily accessible varying views of the style. The customer flow was simplified and streamlined, making for an easy and straightforward shopping experience. Sections to guide the shopper on how to accessorize their outfit, view the style worn, and get recommendations on similar styles were also added.
